OneAways

"The Creation of a Brand”

The client for “OneAways” knew that strong image would be crucial to the success of the brand. Shopfit.co.uk created a design to reflect the aspirations of this retailer and create a format that identifies AWAYS as a high quality cutting edge brand. Customers are awed by the arched black mirror ceiling and the striking white and black gloss displays on opposing walls.

BESPOKE CEILING

Totally unlike any other retail space, the proposed interior was crafted from the ground up. Using 3D modelling Shopfit.co.uk created a design that stands apart from any other brand which has gone before. Central to trhis is the gloss black mirrored parabolic curved ceiling suspended in 5 individual rafts to suit the narrowing store shape.

SHOP FITTING

The unitary and ceiling were all bespoke and had to work together in the space on the first time of trying to meet the deadline. The project also involved a new staircase, flooring and retail lighting along with Air Conditioning & Sprinkler System, both of which had to be incorporated into the ceiling element. All furniture is secured with invisible fixings, including the mirror finished window displays to give a totally seamless finish.

LAUNCH

The swift turnaround of the project on site allowed the store to open on schedule. A key moment was revealing the ceiling from behind its protective wrap, to see the carefully planned lighting scheme cope with the many dark reflective surfaces to bring both merchandise and interior to life.

Other features were the recessed floor boxes for highend footwear and totally fresh twin high mirror gloss stainless steel  "One Aways" lettering sets as window displays.
