The Finished Product
" Marasil" an international brand with over 50 stores in primary locations around the world, including Paris, New York, Dubai and Moscow that expects a high standard.
Shopfit.co.uk was chosen to create the first Marasil store in the UK with this fabulous children’s fashion store launch in the prestigious Westfield London (White City) location.
The all glass full height shopfront with natural timber branding and cloud theme creates an inviting child friendly entrance into this spacious and rich store.
Perimeter wall systems utilise recessed micro slotted channel flush fitted into custom wallpapered large format panels each 15ft high. Each section is enhanced by setting it forward of a recessed accent lit brand yellow boarder frame, helping lend clear definition to the friendly display by age layout.
The central unitary is finished high gloss white to match the hundreds of floating effect wall shelves. Custom printed graphics and branding was created installed throughout.
Gondola units designed for accessories and hi impact merchandising were also gloss white with a stiched leather top. Circular mid floor seating again in matching finishes compliment circular mid floor displays to provide a comfortable store experience.
The design had to encompass Marasil’s stock requirement and Shopfit.co.uk worked with Marasil's in house team to ensure optimum layout and best product display.
Westfield submissions were handled in house and all RD process stages submitted to work hand in hand with Westfield's RD team. All of the smoke and fire control systems along with CCHP and emergency lighting were designed and installed to fit Westfield’s systems, which adds a further project dimension well beyond the stores sparkling finish.

Shopfit.co.uk were happy to go the extra mile to ensure that all the "little people" in the store were extra safe and extra happy. We specified safe play equipment (and happy decals) for the play zone and super safe matta rubberised playground flooring.
Doors were guarded with close arrested Dorma door closers which pull back an inch from slamming every time. For extra safety all door jams were covered with high specification finger defenders. These items were not on the brief but we installed them anyway because that is what we do.
