Specialist Manufacture

 

Shopfit.co.uk can provide any type of unitary from any material, that is the very nature of the bespoke work that we do.  In the past we have produced black parabolicly curved black mirrored ceiling rafts, rotated wall displays, quilted Diamnta studded velvet backdrops and walls of gold curtain chain. We have manufactured massive mirror wals with scroll engraving and chandelieirs with 5000 crystlls and eleborate glass bonded displays which incorporate lamborginhini leather seating. You name it we can create it, please feel free to challange us.

Custom Displays for O2 @ the Dome

 

Mock Trees, Talking Pot Plants, Illuminated neon sign pendants nd jungle gobo lighting were a few of teh feature items provided to this one off store.

Whilst Not the Main contractor we were happy to take up the challange of mock fire proof trees as well as the lighting design and luminare supply.

Very Custom Lighting Features

 

800 holes were CAD drawn to follow specific curves accross 4 large CnC Panels. Specific crystal shapes were ordered from our supplier partners in the Far East and thread to over 50 different configurations to give varying drops arround the curves. The silver header panels were studded with descreate LED downlights. The whole chandelier was then assembeled on site to create a 5M 1.5M ceiling feature with a magical effect.

Mirrored ceiling Rafts

 

Black mirrored Ceiling Rafts are a particulaly difficult item to fabricate as black gloss shows every wripple and scratch. A parabolic curved raft is even more challanging and five seperate rats each with different curveatures and measuring over 6M x 2.5M  require very precise work and a sound manufacturing and installation methods. Shopfit.co.uk can achive these aims on the first attemp to deadline and to budget.

Super Narrow Based Glass Towers

Standing over 2.6M (9ft) tall and only 100mm wide at the base, these slender displays have to withstand a high footfall environment of Westfield Stratford.

Each unit has a gloss white and brushed stainless steel base with levels five of CNC parallelogram toughened glass shelves, each separated by a custom brushed stainless steel collar. All of the components were custom formed and there are over 20 different material / supplier elements involved in every gondola. Fundamental to the structural solution was compression clamping the units and keeping them squeezed under tension between the glass patch fitting above the top shelf and the ground. Hidden from view is a wide steel base hidden under the floor tiles to receive the threaded steel rods which run up through the collars. Remember that glass cannot come into contact with steel and you begin to appreciate the degree of advance design consideration to bring these elegant displays to life.

UV Glass Bonding 

 UV Glass bonding provides a clean joint on glass that is much stroner than the glass itself.  

At Shopfit.co.uk we like to keep unitary clean and fixing free so UV bonding offers the perfect sleek solution. Our fitters are UV bonding trained and have attended courses by Bohl group.  Pictured here is one of three glass gondola units for a Lodon menswear store. The 15mm toughened glass top is boned to the 12mm toughened glass ends which are in turn each bonded to the central toughened glass back panel.  The glass is crystal clear low iron as such thick glass panels would otherwise have a green cast. All of the UV components come together to precisly fit a pre CNC routed Laminitated base. In addition the glass panels for the display have themselves all been pre CnC drilled to take the steel equipment to follow.

This unitary is so pretty its a shame to add stock.
